hey guys, wanted to see if you guys could help me figure out if/what is wrong with my bike... it seems that whenever i go above like 7000rpm i can smell something burning, like rubber or plastic. does this happen to you guys? don't really think the bike is in good health if i'm smelling burning things...

Check the chain to see if its rubbing on plastics or anything.

 

Used to happen on my old bike, it was because the previous owner used chemical metal were the linkpipe slides into the headers. Has the bike got some kind of chemical gasket on it?

 

Check for radiator/radiator fluid leaks as well.
