Default Rear wheel shake

Hey everybody I need some advice. Finally got my bike back together and running great. Only problem I have now is that I can shake my rear tire by hand. I feel it shift on curves when I'm going fast too. Would that be bearings or should I look at something else too? I don't see anything broken but it was laid down hard last year by someone else. Any advice b4 I start throwing parts at her again would be great.

If the rear axle is tight, then the only thing left to move is the bearings. Check the axel is tight first though obviously.

make sure you have correct spacer inside the wheel between bearings. If it's incorrect spacer, your bearings will wear out extremely fast.
