Rear Axel Bolt Direction

Rear Axel Bolt Direction
Hi all - Just replaced Rear rotor and pads and my F4Y 2000 (import). It may be nothing but in the manual I have, the Axel bolt goes in from left to right (looking from rear of bike). But mine goes in from right to left with Nut and washer on left hand side (chain/sproket side).
Ive been looking videos on utube and Ive seen the Axels in both directions during video. IE with nut/washer on left and right sides!
My bike definately had the Bolt going in from left to right.
So question is Does it matter which direction bolt goes in? Also as my bike is an import is there any difference.
Just wanna be sure befor torquing bolt down. Cheers
EDIT - here is video of how mine is currently go to 32s mark on vid

Thanks for that SB - was just abit concerned. Ive been riding it with the bolt that way round since purchase about 4 month ago. Been out on
bike after doing brakes and all is well. Even though brakes are not bedded in yet I can already feel better stopping power. Got some EBC Double H Sintered brake pads
and EBC rotor. Going to run brakes gently for 200 miles then do some hard braking to finaly bed them is as recommended by EBC.
Brakes were abit hot after first ride but im assuming its because they are new and just need to wear down abit.
