I have always jacked up my f4 and all our f4i's by the header and have never tweaked a single one of them. Your doing something wrong.

I didnt say it cant be done, was just saying the f4 header is not as strong as some other bikes, and may flex. You might as well just use the bikes kick stand as a pivot point if you just want to move the bars right to left to check stem bairings, requires no tools, and cuts the time in half.

Yes, loosten all the tripple clamp bolts, top and bottom, the forks should slide back to normal, you might need a rubber mallet to tap them down gently, but only in some cases...

If you need a factory rear link to raise the rear, I have a extra you can have, just pay the shipping, I bought a extra, painted it black and installed it
