Default Put in a manual CCT

WTH did I wait so long! The bike is so much quieter above 4k rpm now... Only took about 1.5 hours from start to finish.

I highly recommend it.

Sounds like your install went very well. Glad it works well for you.

I just checked their eb*y listing(s). They list this CCT as "CRU" brand. It appears to be very similar to the APE, which is a nicely designed part.

Ya, it looks to be identical as far as I can tell. Quality and fit was perfect so I would def buy it again for another bike if I needed to.

I installed one during the winter but haven't adjusted it yet. Any tips on how to adjust the 2 nuts properly?

Thanks

The provided link is similar to the one I used last year. You basically just set it by ear.

I have a question though. I set mine last year around... June I believe. The bike will make some (normal) noises when cold but they go away when it warms up. I've done about 15k km since then, should I to a slight adjustment or does it keep it's setting good enough to not have to touch it for now? I ask because I feel I might be looking for noise instead of there being a 'problem'. It certainly doesn't make the sounds it did before getting the manual CCT.
