Default Price question

What would you say is a good price to pay for a 2000 cbr frame with all the parts of a 2002 F4i swapped over.

So its a complete bike? And I'm assuming it has the tail swap, along with headlights and gauges? And was it crashed, was that why it was switched?

I would say it was crashed or stolen, those are the only reasons all that would have been done. Other than that the F4 and F4i frame are the same. The title would have to be for a 2000 F4 tho!

price $2k at most.

So it is an F4 frame with the body/subframe/fairings/tank/engine/wheels etc off the F4i? I personally would check the VIN on everything to make sure its on the up and up.. but to me it would be worth a good amount less than a nice F4. IMO if you want an F4i you buy one.. its not just a tail conversion or an upper fairing swap.. this is a total redo and it could be a nightmare if not done correctly..

your results may vary.

for around $3200 you can get a fairly mint F4 or F4i!!!

Legit or not, the fact its had a frame swap makes it worth considerably less than one thats original.

That's what I was thinking. I just didn't know how the frame swap effected it. Thanks. I'm having a really hard time finding a 2000 f4 within my price range. For some reason everyone wants to sell them for 4500 maybe 4000.

Where are you located? I just paid $2800 for mine... just about 19K miles but nearly in perfect shape. The ones I found for even $500 cheaper had scrapes, cracks and other issues..
