Default power wheelie stablization

ok as we all know sportbikes can wheelie and mostly all bikes. ok i watch videos on youtube of people doing wheelies and stunting and i wana have a nice video like them but like now i started with youre basic power wheelie and it comes up a lil bit and the more you do it the more it comes up. now my problem is why when i bring it up about 2 1/2 feet or a lil high the handel bars shake why is that.

Your probably pulling up to hard on the handlebars. Just go in 2nd and rev it fairly high, then let off-then "bounce" or preload the front suspension and it will pop right up. With enough practice it actually becomes rather easy. You might want to regear it to get more low end power, then 3rd gear power wheelies are possible. Or else you could just forget power wheelies and clutch them up, but then you run the risk of burning out your clutch rather quickly.

Keep the same amount of tension on both arms. Otherwise your going to set the front wheel down crooked and go into a bad tank slapper, and at that moment if you panic grab a handfull of brakes and eat asphalt real fast. It shouldnt be shaking when coming up unless you have uneven tension on the bars. Personally I would tell you to quit trying because IMO your doing this for the wrong reasons, however you probably wouldnt listen so all I can tell you is theres a good possibility you will loop your bike. Cover that rear brake and take it slowly.

I like the last part of your post John, lol. Just keep going slowly and eventually it will come naturally if you try to force it what John said will happen.

Is there a "good" reason for pulling wheelies?

Lol..im not saying we dont all pull the front wheel up now and again...but i certainly cant justify it, especially if I got pulled over for it.

I had my first bike about 4 years ago and at this time I don't know how to make a wheelie, sometimes the front wheel go up but i can't do it cause i'm afraid of dropping my bike.

But I want to learn like you!!!! lol

Just do it with your gear on (Helmet, gloves, etc, etc, just in case...)

i do one every once in a while. the GOOD reason i have is that its fun....the same reason i have a bike in the first place. i just dont like seing people do it in town and/or on busy streets. empty parking lot in town is a different story. lol but i dont go lookin for em.

Control is the best reason. Being able to control the bike in various capacities and occurences. It's unlikely your going to have a 600 sporadically stand up on you but a litre bike can do it real quick. Being able to control or recover from such instances is nice. It's also a blast if you like doing them. Most ride them to show off. I'd be lying if I said I never do, however I can honestly say that the majority of mine are for my own enjoyment and satisfaction and not for anyone elses.
