Default Parts

I have a 2000 f4 that i got from a friend with some damage on it. And i was wondering if the fork and wheels would bolt right on off the newer models, or if it would have to be modified in any way and i wanna put the tail off a newer one on too how much work is that ive found all the parts i need i just need to know if they will fit before i buy them if anyone has any input for me that would be great thanks!!!

Hello new to this site not new to the F4. The 2001 tail swap is simple there are many tutorials floatin around the net on this, I did it to mine. As far as the front end goes. .the tripple trees forks and everything else is all interchangable with no issues. If you are going to use the F4i wheel you will need the f4i wheel spacers and f4i rotors. the f4 wheel and f4i wheel have different rotor bolt patterns. Any other questions will be glad to help here is a pic of my ol 99f4

Hey NoGlroy, +1 on the front end suggestions. You did the RR swinger too, I was just about to suggest it until I saw your bike. How do you like it? It was the best mod yet for mine, next I'm thinking I might try doing the front end inverted fork/radial brakeconversion, but that's gonna be a big one, everything from thesteering stemdown has to be changed, but that'll open up custom wheel/brake options also.

No glory is right on the front wheel. I have done this. front wheel of the newer model will require a new spacer and brake rotors to match.
