Default OOPS Not Baseball

Okay I finally did it. Was riding with my buddy on the Tail of the Dragon. tailofthedragon.com We'd ridden it about 5 times when we got gutsy. I was going into a left turn a bit too fast when I tapped the front brake. Before I knew what happened I was on the ground. The front tire locked up and that was all she wrote. I hit the ground did a flip and slid on my back. I was wearing a leather jacket, helmet, riding boots, and jeans. I got right up and felt fine. I took all of the skin, down to the muscle, off my knee. ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR!!! If I'd had pants on I would have just gotten some bruises. My bike slid over to the grass and sustained a few plastic scratches, no cracks!!. I did shave the altenator cover. Got the bike up and started it up and went on. Nothin is gonna ruin my vacation damnit!!. So, now that I am home I've decided to get a new 600rr. Orange w/tribal stripes!!!. A little bump in the road of life isn't gonna stop me man...

sucks you fell why are you getting the orange bike personally i think that is the ugliest thing ever put out by honda. i know the colors dont make it run any better and so on but still that color? if your going to get a new bike go with the 1000 that blue and yellow looks awsome in person or even the black 600 is awsome too but orange ?

LOL, Well I think I'm gonna hear that Orange comment a lot. I don't know why but it was love at first site when I saw in on the Honda website. I'm with you on the 1000. The Blue and Yellow is sharp. My dealer has both of them in stock. I'll take the 1000 if you fund the $3000 difference I've never like having the same thing as everyone else. i.e. One of 493 reasons I don't own a Harley.

My cousin just bought the orange and black one. I love the colors as well as the metal flakes in the paint when the sun hits it just right. Maybe if I put mine down I can talk my wife into letting me get a new bike

Nothing wrong with trying to be a bit different, I saw that tribal pattern too
It's not like if you are hanging at a bike spot and there are 150 or so bikes that you won't see the saaaaaaaaaaaaaaame ones at least every 10-20 bikes so be different, go with that Black and Orange, it'll help you practice your individualism techniques
GO HONDA!
