Hi everyone...Im new to the forum and had a question....I recently bought a 99 f4 and need to do an oil change. The bike has a little less than 9K mi, and is currently running non sythetic oil. I wanted to switch to synthetic but wasnt sure if I'd get leaks. I also wanted to know a recommended brand and weight. (Summertime in NJ) I appologize if this has already been a post...I searched but couldn't find a definite answer. Thanks for the help.

 

I have a 00 f4 with 12,000 miles and just switched to mobile one 10/40 bike oil. got it at autozone ordered the k&n oil filter

 

I have always used Motul 10w-40 full synthetic. Bike has 36,000 miles and still runs like new.
