Got my new 2000 CBR600F4. It takes up its new home next to my 1991 CBR600F2 for now in the garage while its being worked on.






after 2 hours of having the bike parked in my garage, I had torn it down:




The bike is getting the following:

new tires front and rear, chain (did x-ring2 gold & black), vortex sprocket set, new fork seals, manual cam chain tensioner, EBC HH brake pads front and rear and a fresh clean K&N air filter. Also, i just did an oil change to repsol synthetic 10w40 today. nothing special but I want this bike to be mint when I am finished with it.


One question though, the rear tire that came on the bike is a shinko 180. Is 170 not the stock tire size for an F4?

 

nope.... 180 is the stock..

that is a funky looking tail light...

 

i dont know if you know where they got that undertail from since you just bought it, but if you do could you please let me know ive been looking for one for an f4 and havent really came up with anything, thanks

 

Heck yeah the undertail is sick, how about some pics of the bike know??? Looks sick!!! I wanna see it with the mods and doing a wheelie!!!
