Hey Brian,
Good find on the F4... I have a 99 F4 as well.. And I LOVE IT..
I keep all stock Honda fluids in it, and change the oil every 3-3.5k miles...
When you ride, do you hear any rattles coming from the right side? Sounds like BB's in a tin can?? If so, replace the CCTL, with the manual style...I did, and I have NO problems since then.
Keep up on your chain tension, tire wear and normal wear and tear.

I think I can speak for most of us in this forum... summed up in one simple quote..

"If you respect your bike, it will respect you back"!!

True, nice bike man! The bb noise they talk about is usually because of CCTl going bad, it fairly noticeable so if you arent hearing it yet you should be fine. But the moment you do definitely replace it. I stayed OEM, some poeple swear by the Manual Tensioner, I dont get involved in it, I just go with i feel is right. Hopefully you get your plates soon buddy!
