my f4 that i just bought miss shifts wen i shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd...i was told it is because of "bent shift forks" are these expensive to get replaced or is the part expensive is it easy to do it yourselve? please let me kno..!!! THANKS!.

Welcome to the site and here's some info that will be valuable for ya

1: SEARCH
Everyone will tell ya is to use the "SEARCH" feature on the forum first before creating a post.
The "SEARCH" feature is your friend, there is a wealth of information on this site, just gotta find it.
It works well and most times the answer to your question is already out there.

2: Tranny
Unless you do it yourself, it seems to get pretty expensive.
I posed a question in another section if it is possible to get at the forks and drum with out removing the engine and cracking the case with no responce...
