Default My F4 Mod/Repair log

Hi,

Everyone else seems to have one so I figured I would do my own

Here is the bike when I bought it, in a bit of a sorry state. But I bought it to learn about it and fix!

Update! This is the look I am aiming for once finished, just to give you guys an idea of what's going on in my head.

What's been done:

New Silencer (OEM)
New Clutch and break levers PO bent them
New seat
New discs and pads
New chain and sprocket
Replace front brake master cylinder

Left to do:
F4i front end conversion lights and gauges
Split seat conversion
Clean Carbs
A general clean up
New steering head bearing's
RFID ignition because it's just to cool not to have!

It's going to take time but I will keep this thread updated with piccys and such when I get my new parts on Payday and finally sorted out my new shop!

Hope you enjoy the read

Tris

Thumbs up What a shame...

OMFG, that poor bike... how'd it end in that condition fella? Such a shame, I'm hoping you put this thing in tip top condition, we'll be waiting

Both previous seriously neglected her and she sat for a year. So far I have her road legal again, set me back about 400. I'm still not happy ;-)

Was just looking at your bike (prompted after the PM's) & saw the paint work in your orig post. That looks really good.

BTW, how is cost of parts w/ shipping to your location?
