they said they weren't familiar with italian red and offered to send me a color sample to compare.

on a side note, my other winter project, ordered a new spoiler, nose panel and some moldings, plus new exhaust and intercooler piping and turbos again (need something less laggy)

my real baby

also getting it painted in the summer time since all the bumpers are new I want to just respray it all for a perfect match.

so the sample from replicals does not match the f4, it's more of an orangey type of red compared to the italian red. I'll wait and see what they have to say.

if anything I'll order the couple of decals i need from honda does anybody know which "type" the red stickers are when looking at the fiche?

Upper fairing and other pieces should be back from paint this weekend, so i'll have some update pics

thanks guys.

I don't think it'll be quite riding season in 3 or 4 weeks but def will be getting there. I want to have it atleast ready to ride by then, that way as soon as I do get a day where it's warm enough i wont be tortured sitting it out lol.

I also need to put my f3 together. It's getting the f4 upper and gauges, I've got 98 red and black tank and tail and another set of red and black f4i fairings,so both bikes will end up being red and black.

Both bikes will also be up for sale in the spring time, now that I'm 25 my insurance has come way way down so I'm debating between an R1 or a 1000RR. But I'm not making that switch unless both bikes sell, the f3 is going for sure though!

took the bike out since the weather has been nicer, lastnight i got the parts back from the paintguy so I slapped the targa cowl on

the f4i upper, undertail, frame sliders, integrated tail etc ill be doing this weekend. then maybe tires and sprockets in the next few weeks.

and then since i was bored and had the f4 tinted screen laying around i decided to install it... the f4 front will be going onto my f3 anyways so I'd have had to put it on at somepoint...

did some of the work today.

led signal relay installed works perfect! normal rate of blinking now
installed the integrated tail and wired it
chopped out the stock rear fender
installed the undertail
swapped mainstays
test fit new upper

still need to get the wiring done for the headlights, I plugged in the stuff that came with the ebay kit and nothing works lol so I'll look into that a little bit more today or tomorrow once I find my multimeter...

anyways a couple of pics, also just note the upper fairing is bolted on via mirrors none of the side fairing screws
