The exhaust honestly isn't as loud as I thought it would be. It's a lot louder than before of course, but it isn't bad by any means. It has a deep throaty sound at idle but screams under acceleration... sounds awesome! I dont know how to do videos online or I would do a sound clip.

Picked up some chrome wheels and black shorty levers. For those who have done levers...is there anything special needed to do them? I took the clutch lever off but couldn't get the cable free from the lever so I wasn't sure if I need a special tool? I may just have the shop do them..not sure yet. Once the garage gets built I'll be doing my paint...ooohhhh yeah! I do paint on the side just for fun but never messed with satin/matte colors...does anyone know if I can use a standard clear coat? I was going to use Dupli-Color just b/c I can lol...just not sure if that's a good idea? Any input?

You dont need a special tool for the clutch lever....I remember it took some fiddling. If you have a haynes manual for the f4 it gives great instructions for easy jobs like that.

you should slide the clutch cable adjuster all the way IN (loosen the cable), and then align it so the grooves are looking forward and you can pull back on the cable and then forward to get it out of the perch.
now you have to get the cable end weight down while the cable is in front of the perch and you have set the cable free.

it's from memory, but that's how it should go.

I appreciate it! I'm going to try again when I have my dad there for assistance lol. Yeah, 27 and I still need my dad haha. We're going to put the chrome wheels on at the same time so I'll snap some pics. when/if we get done Saturday.

Next on the list is get her in primer and then paint her flat black with red and silver graphics. The chrome wheels make a huge difference for sure. I'm liking the short levers too. Now the snow needs to melt

Chrome certainly changes the look. You'll have fun keeping those clean. ;-)

Shorties look good.

Hope you paint work goes well.
