My 2000 CBR600F4 w/ 06 1000RR conversion
I figured i would post some final pics of the work on my f4(well, I'll have to cut up the ram air stuff for it to fit correctly on the bike so for now i just ride it like this!.)She's also got a full muzzy, jet kit, and k&n filter.

And yes, i know i need a new back tire soon!

As said b/f, like your ingenuity. Have a few recommendations for you...
* Fab up aluminum brackets to secure the fairings vs the zipties.
* Raise the plastic battery box/tray position - looks to low & close to the rear wheel.
* Wiring harness is exposed to rear wheel & debris behind the battery tray - needs to be rerouted to more protected location.
Very unique application & vision. Clean it up a bit, ie. make a few adjustments & you're good to go.

Done, done, and done.. These pictures were taking before securing battery box.. Also when I mock up a fairing kit I eventually replace all zip ties with brackets one by one.. Thanks for the advice!
Dude pleeez tell me you gotta writeup! ive been waitin for someone to do what i thought was nearly undoable. i hope it wasnt to expensive.... anyway seeing this happen to an f4 is like watching michael jordan run with the bulls again after so many years....so come on man, do the right thing, pass it on!
(unless of course, all ya did was plug-n-play on the fairings, which looks impossible)....
I should probably keep searching for a writeup before posting this....
Lol.. Yeah,I wish I could do a full writeup but I have since sold that bike.. All I can tell you is that you should just get the fairings and start mocking everything up on the bike using zip ties.. Then replace each zip tie with bracketry(in this case these are strips of steel with holes in them..the second picture is included to illustrate these) You cut the brackets to length and bend them at 90 degree angles if need be.. Just dive into the project and I will be here to answer any questions you have.. 75% of it is acquisition of parts..right now I am currently working. On a 2001 yzf600r with a full 2007 r6 conversion..a lot of the same concepts are used, and and actually the f4 was way easier.. If I remember correctly the side fairings were almost direct bolt-ons on the f4..
