Do some of u guys that live up north ever ride in the snow? We had a cold spell for alittle while here in Florida and I froze my head off riding in 65 degree mornings to work. But in the afternoons it gets around high 80s. Now that cold past us and it's back up to 90s

Wow, that bike looks like it's in mint condition. Have you done any mods to it other than exhaust? Good job, Keep it up!

Thanks! i actually just got the bike like a month ago or so i havent done much to it. It came with the exhaust and pegs, i just added small here and theres like flush mount turn signals and new tires.

My next mod im saving up for is a new undertail. Kinda doing my research first befor i spend. anyone have any experience with undertails?? im lookin for something that has license plate holder and turn signals.

There are several undertail/fender-eliminator options for the F4. You can buy ready-made or make your own.

B/f I did the split-seat conversion, I had a homemade undertail/fender-eliminator for my F4. It was simply sheet aluminum cut to size & installed. My license plate/signal bracket was homemade as well. Somewhere on the forum are pics & instructions that I posted.

After the conversion, I purchased & installed a Competition Werkes FE. http://competitionwerkes.com/ . The fit & finish is excellent quality. It installed just as it should w/o any problems whatsoever. It came w/ all hardware, license plate bracket, & signal brackets. I'm very satisfied w/ its look & performance. CW makes a kit for the F4 as well.

Good luck in your search & your shopping.

Nice photos, and nice-lookin' F4, Pinoyisme! I hope to have my '00 (also Sunrise Yellow) back in shape and looking almost that good by spring.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like most f/e kits cover only the last quarter of the fender. From what I've read from hot bodies undertail kit instructions it says to cut a portion or the original fender out? I think I found your post about a homemade f/e and it seems pretty simple to make! I think I might try that out first befor I spend the big bucks

Yes, w/ most FE's, you cut off the rear portion of the battery tray/fender back to about the rear mounting holes that connect it to the subframe.

Yep, making an FE for the F4 is pretty easy & inexpensive. Its not rocket-science. Like you said, give it a shot. All it takes is a little time & some patience.

Good luck.

Heres a few pics from a bike ride sunday, we went from Naples (my house) to lake placid that day. It was an awesome trip for florida roads. found some nice clean roads that made me really feel like im finally using the bike how it should lol. It was a nice ride, weather is turning out great down here in FL. So if any of you northerners want to swing by with your bikes let me know lol...even tho right now is a bad time to ride bikes around town since all the old fart people come down from up north. They dont care about anyone on the road except them selves!! but heres a few pics...

I need to figure out a way to mount a camera onto the bike and have a button somewhere so i can press it to take a picture any time i would like. There where alot of nice roads while we where riding around. But my buddies didnt stop for me to take pictures.

BUT ENJOY!
