Left handlebar clip-on needs to be torqued?
I have a lock on my left clip-on handlebar and I need to take it off, the owner I bought it from said he lost the key so I got stuck with it on there. It's really affecting my turning radius and it has to come off. IS IT DIFFICULT to detatch the bar and take all the stuff off the bar, the clutch, clutch box? Also when I put it back on do I have to torque anything to specs? Also there is a metal cable with the nut on it that attatches to some little box by the clutch, if I unscrew this is there going to be fluid pouring out and will I have to re-pressure anything?
I'm sure you could even drive to a locksmith and get them to do it in 10 min. You may need some ID and title, though. Since they wouldnt have to come to your house or anything i bet it would be butt *** cheap.
it's a cylidrical lock, i'm not sure if the locksmith can get it off, the dremel is a good idea, but I don't want to drop 200 bucks for a dremel and set...
