I just purchased a 99 CBR F4 in mint conditions. It has very low miles for her age (13000). I need to get new tires. Any recommendations?

Also, I will be doing the tail swap, any idea of the total cost for it.

What type of riding do you do...

I have pilots on now, but I because the riding I do varies so much I'll go back to two sets. Dragon Super Corsa's for the track and probably Pirelli Diablo Strada's for the road. A review of the tires from a road racer I know: http://freedomcycle.ca/impressions2.htm

I am currently ruining a set of pilots at least once a year... I'd run corsa's if I was made of gold and it never rained - and they didn't square off on the highway like a motherf****r

hey i just bought a 99 f4 with 13k miles also, i had to get new tires, and i bought pilot powers, and i love them.

 

Had Pilot Roads on my F4 when I bought it last year. They were good tires, got like 8k out of em. Now I have a set of Pilot Powers and love em. Cost on the tail swap, your looking at about $700 unless you find someone giving the parts away.

I have the Michelin PP's and love them. When it's new tire time I will get the same ones.

 

i got metzlers sport m3's and they handled deals gap like a dream :-)
