Default intergraded tail light with blinkers

does anyone know how to wire the rear blinkers into the brake light without buying a new tail light?

I don't believe you would be able to because when you put on the brake it would be on constantly.. I have an aftermarket one with the blinkers in it.. Its illegal in my state for one (pa) and it was actually hard to see.

could you wire the turnsignals into the brake lite wire and see if it works. all you would have to do is see which wire gets power when the brake is applied. i dont know though it may blow fuses. its worth a try though? im unsure what would happen when you were braking while turning though

i've tried messing around with the wires and already blew fuses. either both sides lit up at the same time or it lit the whole break light up.

Yeah don't do that dude, just get an integrated LED tail light, they aren't that much. The flasher relay won't like those big brake light bulbs.

Not to Hijack the thread, I have an aftermarket undertail that was on the bike when I got it. And I was curious what everyone did to remount the License plate. It is illegal in my state (Washington) to mount the plate vertically. Right now I have it zip-tied to the passenger foot peg but I want a perminent solution and since it is not lit, I can't ride after dark.

As for the blinkers if the bulb does not have a second filament like a car with a tail/brake light I don't think it would work because if you hit your turn signal and the brake at the same time it would be solid and not flashing...

Good luck either way!

When I had my F4 with the banana seat, I just went to the local hardware store and picked up a couple of "L" brackets. I bent them to the angle I wanted and then mounted them to the plate. I made the marks on the undertail and drilled the holes to mount the "L" brakets. It is a cheap alternative to the plate mounts.
