Default Idle at 5000rpm

Hello, I'm new on this forum and have already seem alot of great tips.
Last weekend I've took the carbs of the 600f4 because the fuel T's started leaking. Opened and cleaned everything ( it wasn't to dirty). Put it back on the bike and it did start directly. Only problem it starts with 5000rpm. Did a few starts and always very high rpm.
Took carbs off and rechecked could not find anything strange.
Trottle ia closed, idle screw not used.
Where does all the air and petrol come from?
I'm open to any suggestion, because I don't understand.

definitely sounds like you have an issue with your carbs. did you just replace o-rings or did you take jets out and clean while you had them apart? did you synchronize them after you pulled them apart?

Can you confirm that all 4 butterflies are fully closed and all 4 slides are fully down.

One thing you have to remember is whenever you split the carbs, you have to resync them. Also, it sounds like you may be missing the tension springs, or they may be misaligned.

Last year we parked the bike without problems, so initially I only took the carbs apart (split the 4)to replace the orings.
Then assembled on the bike and it ran on 5000rpm.
idle is closed and main closed.
After that I took it apart and cleaned the internal etc.
Back on the bike same result.
each time I tightened rubber sleeves between engine block and carbs to prevent false air.
When the bike run this fast I can't sync it and actualy all the valves are closed

If, when you start it up it automatically jumps up to 5K RPM's, there aren't that many things it can be.
1. You actually do have the idle adjustment **** turned all the way in.
2. You have the throttle cables backwards
3. The tension springs used for balancing the carbs are missing.
4. Something internal is completely stuck open.

If your boots (rubber sleeves) aren't tight, you will more often than not, get an erratic idle, not a constant fast idle.
Post up some pics of the position of the butterfly valves and the slider positions if you can.

That's a great find. While they are off the bike, take the opportunity to perform a bench sync. It's super easy and a great start in getting them running as one.
All you have to do is take a small object and slide it in between the butterfly valve and the carb throat. you want the butterfly valve to just have contact with the object. The goal is to have all 4 butterfly valves adjusted so they have exactly the same resistance or drag on them when you pull on that object. What the object is doesn't matter so much as long as its small. Some people use a Feeler gauge, some use a guitar string. I use a sewing needle.
