Cool ideas please

so i am pretty new to bikes, just got my self a 00 cbr 600 f4. I am currently in the process of taking it apart. Funny thing is that it works just fine, but i am wanting to know how it all works and put it all back. lol maybe a little crazy but i figure it's a great way to get to know my bike. anyways i am looking for ideas on what i can do to upgrade my bike or maybe give it a different look. i am willing to consider pretty much any ideas so please feel free to give me ANY kind of suggestions. thx and i look forward to see what kind of ideas you guys have. I am already planning a new paint job for my bike but not sure what else i can do.

its funny i just asked this question but ill ask you this what type of look are you going for? im actually wanting to build the baddest honda 600 ever (rr's, f1- f4i's) no if you just want to do some simple mods you can get some swing arm extentions or buy a extended swingarm from jeepersracing.com for 375. and then there are all kinds of bolt on stuff out there for this bike like wind screens, bolt kits, hid kits which if you ride at night it is one of the best things to upgrade on the bike. hopei was able to help a little.

and good look on your quest, hope you end up with a show stopper

Welcome aboard. First off, I'd recommend you do research on your bike by reading everything you can find on it first, b/f taking things apart.

I come from the simplest-is-best school, in that modest mods can really make a bike look great w/o going overboad & looking gaudy.

Good luck.

Start with the frame. Single biggest overlooked part of the bike. Powercoating / good paint serves the dual purpose of making the bike look nice and protecting the frame for the elements.

Oh yeah, if you're taking it apart either label every bolt w/ location. Or when you take it out, put the bolt back in its location. You'll thank yourself.
