I have a 2000 Honda CBR600 F4. My problem is that when it get hot and the fan comes on, it idles rough and sometimes cuts off, but will start right back up the instant it cuts off. But it only does it when the fan is on. I'm replaced the voltage regulator, checked the batt. and stator is charging. Please help if at all possiable. Thanks to all who can give me some insight.

 

This is such a common issue.. search this forum and you will find TONS of info... the regulator.. which one did you go with? Aftermarket? stock? Redesigned stocker?
How did you test the stator?

I went with the aftermarket regulator, the one with the improved heat sink. I checked the stator at my job on a machine to check the charging system. I still think its the stator because of course it charges at high rpms but it drops too low when the fan comes on while sitting at idle. Its really giving me a headache and I don't want to just start throwing parts at it that might or might not fix it.
