ok this is the story,

i picked up a copy of @wheel tuner, (hoping to see some pics of me somewhere at bike week) and was looking throught the readers ride section and saw a guys 2000 f4 and he claims to have it bored and stroked to a 1000cc motor and i think thats bull sh** but the magazine printed it so does any on here since you guys are more familiar with your bikes than i, is this even possible with that motor? i was thinking a 660 or maybe a up to a 750cc but a1000cc just seems like a lot of smoke up ones ars.

i own a yzf600r as well asmy cbr 929 ER and if it was possible to just stroke your motor to whatever size you wanted who would ever buy a newer bigger bike? you'ld just stoke your motorup to what ever displacement you wante!

i would love to get my 929 up another 400cc and have a 1329 busa beater and would be a hell of alot lighter an better looking.

i going to get me a 250 and stroke it to a 650ccthen when i out grow that im going to stroke that to a 1050 and when i out grow that 1450 and after that it going to turn into a goldwing

 

come on, someone tell me it can be done, who else has done this?

 

he prob has a 929 or a 900RR engine borerd in it.. anything is possible if you have the resources and the money...

no one around here beleives that i put a 900 engine in my f2 frame.

 

but no there is no way in hell you can bore a 600 toa 1,000... just not going to happen...

 

Well, If your bored it out untill the cyclender walls are gone.. then removed the valves and cam to increase the stroke as much as possible.. So be close to a 1000 cc.
