I got mine for 1700... With 11,000 miles.... It needs some work but I could probably get 2500 out of it as is.... First bike I ever had and I get compliments were ever I am ... I havent seen any F4's here in Louisville though.... I plan to redo alot of stuff because there so customizable.

 

I paid 2k for mine. Had 37000 on frame and a few plastic parts. 6500 on whole drivetrain and wholesuspension. Worked to the max. Total suspension upgrade, whole drivertrain and exhaust upgraded, carb has jet kit and all new plastics. Im about 600 deep in it now. New tire, thermostat, coolant reserve and clutch cable. Dynoed at 110hp.


Im going to sell for 3300-3500 prolly. Runs awesome.

 

i bought my 99 f4 with 22k miles for $3500 off of CL about 2 weeks ago

the bike runs great but its salvaged. oh well, it does runn great. the only thing i got for it is a new battery. it needs a new headlight bulb(no low beam) and a new front tire. i gave hime $350 back in june to hold it for me while i was deployed and showed up with $3150. don't worry, we had a contract and everything.

 

i paid 3200 for mine w/ 24000 i probably could have gotten it for 3 but i was really in love with this bike the sec i saw it

 

i paid 2 grand for my 1999 f4 that was modified with 15,235miles on the clock. It was my first bike to learn on. It had some light scratches on both sides. I spent about another 450 returning the bike back to stock cuz it wasnt running right. I have to agree wit the previous replies, craigslist is the place to find deals.

Depends on location as everyone has said, plus the whole supply and demand issue also. Bikes around here started actually going up due to the high demand this year during the gas crunch/crisis.....and people were paying for them too.

 

I got my F4 with 18k miles on it for $2600 w/ helmet and jacket (neither of which I use) a month ago. I love it!
