Nice and easy take a razor knife and slice the old grips. There is a plastic piece on the throttle side and a metal bar on the clutch side. Start near the key side of the grips and cut the collar first then slowly go the length of the grip. When you put the new grip on soak them in HOT SOAPY water(dish soap works fine) this will allow you to move the grip to the right place or rotation. Let it sit for a couple hours to dry and you will be good.

i've always just used compessed air to blow the grips on and off, has anyone else not done this? just take the blow tube attachment from my air compressor and stick it under the edge of the grip and hit the air it makes the grip expand just slightly but enough that you can slide the old grips off and the new ones on just the same. hope this helps

I just put a little soapy water inside the grips and on the handlebars, and they slide on with minimal effort. Just be sure to position the grips how you want them to dry. Also, wait 24 hrs before you move them for the water to evaporate. Did it in like 2 minutes, if that.

the soapy water idea sounds like it would work just fine, but the whole waiting for it to dry thing, i couldn't stand, when i put something new on my bike i can barely wait 24 seconds to ride it and see the difference or show my friends, let alone wait 24 hours, but if your not in a hurry and you don't have access to a air compressor that would be the best route to go, not trying to step on your toes 1998f3, or Musichyp
