Heated handgrips
Hey all. I searched the subject, but surprisingly little turned up on what people on these bikes use for heated hand grips. I'm not looking to spend $100 on new grips with fancy controls. Anyone use similar ones to this:

As I understand, you place these under your existing grips. How do people find they work? Any problems with throttle twisting?
$30 is a bit steep for what you get especially since there are similar ones for $4
MX Enduro Road Bike Motorcycle Heated Grip Pads Heaters 12V | eBay
Ideas or experience with these things?

I can't say I've had experience with heated handgrips on the CBR, but on my Kawasaki GTR1000 I've had heated handgrips for a number of years - and swear by them during cold/wet winter mornings. Simple three position switch for off/low/high setting)
I used these:
Plug and Play Grip Heater Kit for Your Concours
These go under the grips, and I've never had any problems with either the grips or the throttle movement. A worthwhile investment if you don't like using thinsulate gloves
Cheers, SB

I have the first ones and I would pay extra just for the hi lo.
The Hi is to hot for most days above 2*C (35*F) with normal gloves, and good with thicker gloves on. Where somedays the Lo is just perfect to make rides a little more comfortable.
I don't even notice they are there when they are off, no twisting problems and they don't make the grip any thicker.
I would recommend them.

Thanks. Should be easy enough to make any set a high/lo set. Just need another resistor. This wiring diagram I through together should work, with a bicolor led as an indicator.
