Default HID....

I've read other posts, but I want to know who has an F4 no f4I, that put hid's on. I want to put em on, but I don't know where to start. Wiring if it's a pain, I can deal with, just wanna know what anybody else used, and how they did it.

Plug and play, dude. If you know your bulb, you can get the kit that will allow you to plug into the original sockets and do it. It took me approx 45 minutes on my Honda Prelude, b/c I had to take the headlamps out, but a bike should take approximately that as you find a place to mount the balasts. I recommend slim ballasts for a bike b/c of the space restriction. Also, below 8000k is the best range for light increase. 4300k is some of the best, whitest light you can get.

I got a bixenon HID kit off of ebay for 140, but I split it with another guy, so it was 70 for me. I'll post pics this weekend when I get my bike back, but you have to kinda make your own harness sort of. I'll post it all up when I get it back. Took a few hours, only because it was tough to place the light at the right height.
