Default Help Please!!!!!!!!!

Hello fellow cbr owners i had a question i feel that my cbr is lacking power after 100mph+ i feel it should accelerate a lot faster but its not and it seems to take a while to get to around 130 does anymoe know if it is lacking in power or my speedo is off/broke? also how long does it take to get to 150 or 160? it may sound funny but on youtube i say acceleration for a f4i and it got to 160 way faster than my bike goes to 110 so is there something wrong or is it just me i really need to know because it irritates me a lot thanks i appreciate the help!

The only place you should be going over 100mph is on a race track.

Personally, the fastest I've ever been on the track w/ my F4 is 141-142 mph.

Top speed for the F4 new was listed at 161.6 mph. Most F4's will never realize this in street configuration...nor should they.

If you're not realizing factory performance numbers for your F4, the best thing you can do is have it tested, serviced, & dyno'd.

ahaha haven't seen that before. Is your bike all stock??? How your bike is set up will affect how it rides.

i will get tune up and get my bike looked at btw i also i went 130 on a deserted road with flat surface that i drive everyday and i wear all protective clothing everything so its not like i am doing 130 with people around . i am not trying to offend anyone ether so if anyone thinks i'm dumb sorry but who can really say they never speed at all especially on a motorcycle. I do plan on taking it to a track very soon and i was mainly curious if stock cbr600 f4 are a lot slower than the new cbr or if my f4 is slow stock and performance parts will make a huge differance thats all.

You can get an aftermarket exhaust, jet kit and replace your sprockets with with a "quick acceleration kit," But i found my biggest performance gains from spending a weekend cleaning everything on my bike (I mean everything. I took the wheels off, cleaned the carbs, took off the front sprocket cover) and replacing all my fluids, don't forget to flush the coolant.
