I would recommend looking on ebay or CL, much much cheaper to find an OEM replacement.

not sure where you live there's a guy partying on a 99 CBR out here in Huntington Beach, California he seems very reasonable with his prices mainly because of the limited market for the parts. If you'd like I can try to send you the link if you're nearby enough.

I am up in the Bay Area. sunny San Jose California. I will probably go with ebay for the ease of it. anyone have any suggestions on where to get replacement pegs and shifter? as well i am looking at the full body kits. any opinions on the US vs. China kits?

I have a set of fairings from auctmart, they are yellow/black with some chips but nothing bad. If you want them I'm driving up to Oakland this weekend so I can drop them off. The only issue that you might have is the tail is for a split seat not the banana seat. Let me know as I don't have much more room for spares (its my third set ).

Yea I know morgan hill, but you have to understand that the tail is for the F4i with two seats and the front cowl is for a 07 cbr1000rr. I can tell you what you need to do to swap to a split seat too! And sadly yes I would need to ask for money, I wish I could give these away but I just got out of the military and am in college so I need to save as much money as I can because of no income. Just PM me an offer and I will be driving up Thursday or Friday and headed back down on Sunday so let me know what works for you.

ok, i follow. i am tight on money as well, bike isn't fully paid off yet and my car blew its clutch last friday before my weekend crash. Hugely appreciate the offer of help. but i figure it would be more cost effective and keep my parts issues to a min. if i just get a tail replacement off ebay. i'll leave the scratched fairing on for now to remind myself everytime that i am in fact not all that and a bag of chips.
next question if anyone can help, found a guy parting a F4 in socal, may be same person that was mentioned earlier. but he has the full left side peg and shifter, only problem is he says the 'nipple' is cracked. i can't for the likes of me understand what he is pointing to.
