I hit the starter button and I just hear a bunch of clicking where I assume the starter relay is. What is it? Here is a picture of the item in question.



I seriously need help. Need to be riding the bike by this weekend. Any suggestions welcome!

 

Battery is probably dead or low.

That is the starter relay....

 

The battery is low. I actually had it jumped to the van when I tried to start it. Several times in the rebuild, I've done this with the bike and it's the first time it's made that sound. Does the starter relay have a fuse in it that could have blown?

 

It does have a fuse on it.

Is it a 10A spade?

 

I've trouble shot it down to the starter switch assembly. I'm not sure if it's bad or not, but I do know the fuse is fine. I'm going to take it with me to the shop tomorrow and see if they can determine if it's good or bad, unless one of you can tell me how to test it.
