Question Handle bars

I have a 99 F4 n have noticed that the right clip on with brake reservoir n throttle doesn't go out to the same angle as the clip on with the clutch. They are both adjusted out the whole way. Any reason for this or do I have a problem somewhere?

The handlebars may be bent. what you could do is move the right clip-on as far out as you can and than move the left clip-on in until they align.

This may sound dumb but is there a way to tell if there bent besides looking at them?

String and messireing (sp) is the ezest way. Get the fork caps the same distance away from the center gas cap bolt then measure your bars to the same bolt then front axle bolt to bottom of the triple. That's how I make sure all my stuff is true there is other ways I'm sure but this one works down to a 16'th of an inch and I'm good with that
