Good grip and good mileage tires?

Good grip and good mileage tires?
I've been reading up a lot on tires on this forum and I see back and forth on Metzeler, Pirelli, and Michelin tires, but the more I read, the more mixed comments I get from people. I just want to know which company has good grip seasonally and good on mileage or slow tire wear. Thanks.

RE: Good grip and good mileage tires?
Hmm... I was actually pushing for the Michelin tires myself. I've heard that they had good mileage too. If not that I might opt for the M3. Actually they Michelin has the Pilot Power 2 now. Any opinions on those? The Pilot Power 2 seem to be only about 10-20 bucks more (depending on the store), but besides that, anyone know the performance between the two? thanks.

The Michelin pilot powers are the best tire on the road today (developed on the GP circuit). They are sticky as glue and heat up almost immediately--of course that comes at a cost of wearing quickly. One option is the pilot powers 2CT which has a harder rubber in the middle of the tire (more wear) yet has sticky rubber on the outsides--supposedly the best of both worlds. I currently run the standard pilot powers on my 954 and love em. On my GSXR 750 I run M3 Metzlers--very sticky once they heat up but will change to Pilot Powers once they wear out.
