Fuel pump needed or not?

I would say 150 is pushing the limits fuel pump or not.

Dean0 no I haven't its only happened twice while hot and starting it when it's sat for a few days I open every time before I ride, or are you saying leave it open then start it?

Fiddy; thanks I wasn't sure of the range on these I've just started filling up at 100 miles give or take

When/if it starts running rough - stop, open the fuel cap, close it again and see if it runs ok.
If it does run better after opening the cap and closing it again you need to look at the two tubes under the tank that exit under the bike - one is a vent for the tank - it could be blocked.

I just bought a bike and need help finding the carb fuel inlet as well
