So my boyfriend just recently bought a 2000 cbr f4. He had it running for a little bit but now the damn thing spits gas out. There is a tube hanging from the bike that everytime he attempts to start the bike fuel pours out. I got told it was a vent/overflow tube but there's no way that could be it with the amount of gas thats coming out of it. Any ideas where the heck this thing goes or what could be the problem?

 

Pull the tank off and take a photo, don't pull any of the tubes off just take a photo of you pointing at the line that is leaking.

 

hmm.... did someone hook up the fuel pump backwards??? hahaha!! but yea, pull the tank off, and check that all the hoses are tight, and none cracked..

 

Well... Did you figure it out or what?
