Default fuel injection

I would like to know if anybody has converted a f4 to fuel injection?
i was thinking about using f4i injectors throttle bodies and a micro squirt.

Seems way to complicated for it to be worth it. Plus, I have experience with Micro Squirts on a snowmobile and they are difficult to say the least because you start from scratch with fuel maps and sensors and everything. I would say if you want FI just sell it and get an F4i

I hate when people say just buy .............. a cheaper solution would be to find a full FI system from a F4i. I seen one on ebay go for 190 the cpus, wires and everthing !!! But I was broke so it was a no go for me ...............

The guy that was selling them said everything bolts right on to the f4 motor expect the temp sensor which needs to be retapped to make it fit. The Cpus is just a matter of running the harness. IDNT know how true it is but thats what "HE SAID"

I've explained this over and over, but here goes again. It can be done but you will need the Head and cams from an f4i. Complete fuel system including tank with fuel pump, pcm, air box for iat and map sensor and pretty much the complete f4i harness. I'll have to double check on the temp sensor being different because i dont think it is. I would agree the F4i parts would be the easiest and probably best way to convert however I would just buy a f4i engine complete which can be found around 500 at the right time and swap it out. I understand fun, but dont see any reason to reinvent the wheel.

mazdamx640, i think its a good ideal and im glad someone asked this question. I agree with dmcb2120, most of us cant afford to just sell our pride and joy and buy another one, i sure as heck know i cant, but also alot of people want the throttle response of the f4i but the styling of the f4 (maybe im the only one in that alot section but oh well). let us know how it turns out cause if it works good i got next. does anyone make performance cams for the f4 or f4i?

First off, you will spend tons more trying to convert than just buying an f4i engine and swapping. Second the '04+ f4i is the same styling minus headlight as the f4 so that's negligible aswell. If you want to invest twice as much money and loads of time then by all means go for it. It's been done before, but there is no reason too. Time is money. There are performance cams built for the f4 and f4i. I havent seen any in awhile but I imagine they're still available.
