It looks like the f4 has a special base protruding out of the upper cowling where the turn signal comes out. In ordeer to install front flush mounts (it looks like they make special f4 flush mounts), do you have to shave the base down or something?? Or do they just plop right on that flat little base?? Everything that I have found you have to modify the skins to get the signal to mount flush.

 

I've installed a few flush mounts on F4s. Simply grind down that protrusion with a bench grinder (or a hand file if you've got lots of time to kill) and the stock bases make excellent flush mount bases after that.

 

hotbodies makes a direct fit flushy for the f4i that fits the f4 so you dont have to grind/drill/cut/shave/etc

 

burner is right hotbodies flush mounts will fit w/o sanding or grinding.but thereare better flush mounts out there. isaw them in amotorcyclist mag. after i installed my ****ty hotbodies flushmounts. i believe the other ones were from compititionwerkes.they are same price and same size (so you wont have to grind or sand) the other ones are better because ...1 some L.E.D.s face forward so they can be seen from the front (most important) ...2 they come with plug-in clips that fit your bikes stock wire clips. ...3 they blink at your bikes stock flash rate . i hope comp.werks. sees my raves & send me a free set hahaha naa maybe save you some agg. though ride safe
