Default Front end

Did the newer style CBR front end bolt right on, or did you have to modify the 99-00 Cyclops style one?

mustang is a 91 calypso green lx 5.0, black interior.

most parts from 99-06 F4/F4i are interchangeable, there are only a few subtle differences like different rotors on the f4i, different header on the f4i, EFI is obvious, air box etc but if you actually take the time to do a little research all the answers are out there

Thanks. I wasn't trying to be lazy, I just never knew they were interchangable like that. I've been wanting a new headlight up front for awhile and was thinking of grafting in a GSXR on the front instead of the giant 1980's style the 99-00 CBR's have.

Thanks again.

just to be clear, if you quote it like that it sounds like i'm being a douche but I didn't mean it like that. I'm just saying for all things I did to my bike very little was just out there on a plate. For ex. I measured all bearing dimensions, spacer dimensions, axle sizes, fork spacing etc before I bought wheels.

I like the 99-00 look, you don't see the F4 runnign around much. only reason I did mine with f4i front end is I trashed the entire front in a lowside and f4i parts were a lot easier and cheaper for me at the time.

I agree, I liked the 99-00 look, but parts are hard to find because they only made them for 2 years...the F4i parts are all over the place on ebay, the only thing I didnt like about the F4 was the banana seat...which the F4i brought back in 04...
