Unhappy Feeler: Thinking about parting out my bike :(

Hey guys, I own a 00 CBR f4 and lately its just been so much of a hassle to really enjoy. After rebuilding it from a slight accident (just cracked the stator case and messed up the paint) its been having some grounding issues. ( i.e it breaks the main fuse after an hr of running) This has driven me to the thought of either parting her out of selling whole. The bike runs great when its on its just that i neither have the time or financial resources to get her 100%. So i was wondering if there would be a large demand for any parts? Im willing to set low prices just PM me what your looking for and if i have it i can quote you. Unless anyone could help me with a solution to the electrical ground issue its bye bye for now.

You cracked the stator case. did you replace the stator? if not its not uncommon to bare the windings and have the stator ground to the case.

Default ouch...

dude keep workin it a lil longer, after 3 weeks of fighting with a trun signal that apparently had no current, i check fuses, wiring up and down the bike and just yesterday I found the problem to be a bad ground wire. In fact I have the wiring diagrams from my manual in color if u want I can get cha a PDF and post it tomorrow, just in case eventually u do decide to part-out...do ya have a rear grab bar? let me know thanks

Default Keep working it!

I'd probrobly start by getting a new stator case and new stator. Sounds like something is shorted on stator.
