Fairings and Hello! :)
Hello all,
New to the forum so hello to everyone I hope you are all well and looking forward to the better weather, if you are in England that it, i'm sure its sunny everywhere else in the world!
I have a question, after a quick search I can't find anything on whether anyone has made their own fairings or used fairings from any other bike and fitted them to an F4, has anyone done either?
Another question, does anyone have a 2008 onward fireblade front end laying about? It's a long shot I know but I'll put it out there.
The general plan is to take an F4 (the older less pointy style) and let my creative juices adjust and fabricate a set of fairings. Based on using the blade front and then build a race bike styled tail and work the middle out when I get there.
It's a little way off (month maybe) from starting but close enough now to start getting some info. I want something unique, 600 light, 600 power, reliable and well built, styled to my taste and not costing £4000 upwards.
All the best.

Welcome to the forum!
TAYQ: The most popular fairing conversions to the F4 are from the oem fairings to F4i dual light front fairing & split-seat tail. As you'll see in some frequent threads below, there are a few members currently doing these conversions. I have the split-seat tutorial in my photo gallery that you can click on the word "here" in my sig-line & be taken to it. Additionally, do some searches here on the forum for other conversions. There is been a little bit of everything done at some time or another. ;-)
Good luck.
