Default F4i fairing kit

Hi all,

I bought a 99 cbr 600 f4 last summer as my first bike. The previous owner used it as a stunt bike the everything seemed fine on it except the fairings. I figured it was ok since it was my first I probably would lay it down.
Now I'm trying to fix up the fairings from both my riding and from previous owner, which to get a body shop to patch and paint cost about as much as buying a set of off ebay. My question is if i get a f4i fairing kit, will it fit on my f4 and what do you guys think?

cheers

i have owned both and yes and no. the sides will fit perfectly and the tail will fit if you get a set for the newer f4i's with the banana seat. older f4i's will not unless you do a tail conversion. the front will fit technically but you will have to get an f4i headlight(not cheap) and windscreen and mabe do some custom mounting for other things such as speedo

I got the f4i cluster because I saw no real usable way of keeping the stock gauge cluster. If your stuff is in good shape you can usually make most of your money back on the swap. Keep an eye out on stuntlife.com and craigslist...I got my headlight for 40(sold the stocker for 80 lol) and the cluster for 45 so there are really some deals out there, just gotta be patient and look for em
