Question F4i engine on F4

Hey guys I was wondering if an F4i motor will work on a F4 and can you use the carbs from a F4 on a F4i motor or do you have to have the fuel injection on it. My engine currently has a cylinder with low compression and I'm looking at different options. any help??

Yeah the F4i will work but If I were you I would just transplant the fuel injection in it to. Do a search on here I know it's been done before and posted on this forum.

Yes i know the i is for fuel injection and I was just wondering because as a college student you know money is just not laying around, fun fact . I figured you would have to get a new wiring harness with the F4i engine.

Have you checked ebay this is on there right now all you would need for it is the F4i ECM which aren't bad.

Says 6k miles and comes with everything except ECM cheap price to. I don't think you would be able to rebuild cheaper than this and an F4 motor setup like this would probably be the same.
