yeah, as soon as i get it outta my shop/back porch ill take some good photos...That pic is without the airbox, which is my you see the void underneath the gas tank.surprisingly enough i was able to use the f4 upper stay!

What's that holding the lower rear on the bottom of the fairings...cable-ties?

Is that an RR tail? What did it take for it to fit? Just an RR subby, or was there some fabrication for it?

Hahaha.. Yeah I always use cable ties to initially get the fairing kit where I want it, then one by on I replace them with some solid brackets. It is the best way mock everything up before you make final decisions because everything is adjustable! Yeah I have used 05-06 600rr tails on the F3 bikes which I prefer over the 03-04 ones, but as long as you have the 1000rr gas tank shroud to go with the tail I much prefer the look of those. To answer the other question: yes, I usually weld on the rear seat lock to make a functional removable seat/solo cowl latch and maybe some brackets welded on here and there.

Armyjeffries, no.. That is the stock f4 subframe.. Just unbolt the top two bolts in the subframe and raise it to the height you want.. Then drill two new holes (3/8).. I also cut off a few inches on the back and the stock latch loops to get it to fit right.
