Default F3 muffler on F4?

I found someone selling a D&D slip on for F4 on kijiji, I drove almost 2 hours to pick it up. The guy said he had it on F4 and didnt like it so without checking, I paid up front and took the muffler home. As soon as I got home, I realized that the muffler is for F3 and not F4. The ****ing dbag lied to me, and now he wont answer my call. I am so pissed.

Now my question is how to make this muffler fit on my F4

slip it on, and whatever part of the muffler that doesnt reach, just build a bracket, if anything us plumbers tape, or if u want take the muffler off the piping and just add the muffler to your bike and keep the other part for something else

It's a slip on, right? I would assume that the intermediate pipe is wrong... How off is it?

I thought about making a bracket but the pipe then will be hanging too low and too wide.

Yes the mid pipe has the wrong angle, it's off by 3.5 inches from the hanging bracket of the bike to the muffler hanger.

Try a muffler place.. Maybe they can bend it correctly.. Length they can't do much.. Maybe they can bend you a new mid pipe also..

Sell it to someone with an F3, then buy one for an F4.

I just spoke to a Midas guy, he told me they could bend a new mid pipe but they only had galvanized pipes. I was wondering if you guys know what kind of stuff ppl use to wrap around the exhaust pipes. (you often see it on bobbers)
