Default Ebay clutch/ brake levers

Has anyone tried the rip off pazzo shorty levers like these on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Brake...item3f016971e2

My clutch lever has had the end broken off for awhile and I figure I could use an upgrade - but they are pretty cheap so just curious if anyone has tried them.

Also when people change their levers do they usually go shorty or standard length. What are the advantages/ disadvantages of each?

I'm watching those same ones. The '00 I just bought has a bent clutch lever and I figured a pair of those might be a nice upgrade (especially for the price). Heck, so long as the bushings are the right diameter I figure it's hard to go wrong.

ya...they just seem almost too cheap - not much more then normal replacement levers. Oh well, I guess I will buy em and let people know how they turn out; not much risk. Would love to have some gold levers to match my exhaust.

Anyone have comments on whether short or regular length is the way to go?

I put some chinese levers off ebay on my SP1 - fantastic - dog leg and adjustable mean i can lauch far better than with standard levers

Only down is they slop about bit more than OEM levers but I can live with that - I was looking to spend £160.00 on italian billet levers and for $10 got a good fix

Is that personal preference or are the shorties more comfortable/easier pull/something else? Frankly, I'd be more comfortable with shorties since I'm used to the levers on my mountain bike unless there's a reason not to go with them (less leverage?).

More comfortable, no problems with leverage, they just look and feel better unless you enjoy crushing your fingers with the long levers. You can easily pull them in with 1 or 2 fingers.
