need some help, does a f4i mudguard fit fit an f4??? without any modification?

Are you talking about mudguard as in under the tail yet just above the rear tire?? If so, I've heard from others that it is an exact fit replacement of the chain guards on the F4's. Also I think they are mostly refered to as huggers. I haven't tried it yet (short on $) but am really wanting to. I have found them on eBay for around $100 in a few different colors, with or without predrilled holes, and in fiberglass and PVC. I actually think there is a sticky on the top of the "CBR600 F4" posts that has helpful link. Under that there is a like to all the parts that match up between F4 and F4i and what parts fit with mods to the F4... Hope this helps..

 

Yeah the under tails are an exact fit and the rear huggers are too.A 190 rear will even fit on the rear with a hugger.

 

what about with a 200 tire??

And no, not all F4i parts will fit on a F4. Huggers yes, undertails no. The 99 - 00 F4 and the 04 - 06 F4i share all the same body work except the upper cowl (which can fit but one is a single HL n the F4i is a dbl). The 01 - 03 the whole tail section is different.

 

what do you mean I cant hardly get traction with the 190 I know its not the meatiest of tires but it dont limit me.

 

HTF do you ride? evidently its not in the twisties. If you drag race, its more of how to launch than getting a wider tire.

 

Nah I love the twisties. I only have about a half inch of the 190 on either sidethat I dont use on them. And I like my ladies with big rear ends. LOL..
