well i've decided against the long drive up north to buy the bike im just going to wait it out and try to find one withing 3 hrs. Cant stand the thought of having to spend $150-250 on gas and then have to pay tt&l from the dealer.

If anyone on here know any good deals around shreveport, louisiana or surrounding area please let me know. i got a little over 3 grand to spend, know its not much but should get the job done. Dont really wanna buy my gear until i find a bike so i can color match some of it. I;m positive i want a matte black helmet just as far as gloves and jacket got to wait and see what color i get.

 

$3k isnt really bad for the miles, but everybody is right, check the rotors, tires, chain, leaks, condition of fluids (break fluid). I got mine 99 f4 with less than 5k miles for just over $4K. Also, ask around, you never know. My uncle knew this guy who kept his 99 f4 in the garage just for show, so I made an offer and now I own that bike, oh and best of all, he lives 15 min from my house. Ask u might not need to travel far to get one!! laters....
