Default chain

i think i may need a chain. mine is really loss and is making almost a clicking noise when a certain part of the chain comes around. i have no idea what the noise is. i just got the bike like 2 weeks ago. i looked the adjuster on the back of the swing arm and the chain is adjusted out to where is "replace chain". i dont know much about bikes so i have no idea what the plus and minus stuff is on the sprockets. or what kind of chain is good and will last. so if someone could help me please.

Yep, your chain & most likely sprockets as well are needing to be replaced.

I would respond the same way as I did in this thread... https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f4...needed-124500/ .

I read that thread but I have no idea what chain and sprocket set up is on my bike. And also have no idea what the 520 or 523 conversion stuff is.

What matters is what you put on your bike now.

Stock sizes, both chain & sprockets, are sufficient for everyday street use.

*16/45 steel sprockets
*525 chain (108 links). D.I.D & RK chains are OEM suppliers for factory Honda.

The latter. Although, your speedo/odo may be off a bit...i.e. read incorrectly.

If you are going say -1/+2 your speedo/odometer will be off between 10%-15%, which means adding more mileage to your bike then you are actually riding.
You should purchase a speedoDRD or speedohealer so you speedometer can display the correct speed you are going.
