Ok lets go from there.

The last time I replaced a clutch was on my KMX200 2 stroke a good number of years ago. I have the manual here so I think I could if I just followed the steps.

I dont have much for tools though, I have some basic sockets and spanners. But nothing 'pro' or anything 'special'.

I currently live in Neath, Wales.

This is my daily driver.

Yes Scott its basically putting the new ones in the way the old ones came out, if you look at the manual you will see there are different size diameter discs a 2 judder seat and springs, your gonna need a day to do it , then new oil and a filter to put back in, but if its your daily ride you might need more time

Yeah thats quite a distance from me. Do you think I could get away with just buying a plate set? Or would I need a complete clutch kit?
I dont really have £100 atm to spend on the bike.

Hi Bojan,

Have you been able to figure out the cause of your noise issue?

i have a ticking noise at 2000/3000 rpm but only when under load riding , not a sound on tick over or revving at a stand still, changed my automatic cam chain Tensioner but it wasn't that, any ideas folks, i would very much appreciate any input on the matter. (2003) cbr 600f

Default Hi all, sorry for late response.

I have recently replaced tensioner with manual PSR cam chain tensioner.
Ticking is now completely gone. But rattling during deceleration is still present. This is only present when engine is hot. I have inspecred plugs all over again and readjusted pilots to make sure that mixture is fine and there is no misfire. Engine is running fine but rattling is is still there when braking/decelerating.
Next thing to do is to inspect the chain that is running oil pump, i am runing out of ideas.

Bike was at paint shop almost a month,

reason for late reply.
